Todd Walts is a former youth pastor and a professional speaker with over 25 years serving youth and adults. He also has a wealth of experience that spans church ministry, para-church non-profit leadership, education, prevention education, and business. He currently serves as the CEO/Founder of Campus Impact USA and Executive Director of Community Impact Organization helping others to grow in leadership, success, and influence; prevent bullying, violence, and injustice; and provide safe educational and workplace environments.
He has been trained and mentored under former pastor, Dr. John C. Maxwell, as part of the John Maxwell Team in the area of leadership, communication, and personal growth. He is a dynamic, fun and interesting presenter, speaker and trainer who has presented in Christian and public schools throughout the US, as well as national and international conferences in Dallas, TX, Seattle, WA, Myrtle Beach, SC, New Orleans, LA, Cleveland, OH, Columbus, OH, Cincinnati, OH and on college campuses, including Georgia Southern University, Case Western Reserve University, and Miami University of Ohio. Using his friendly and relational style, he shares tender moments as a springboard for positive change, while encouraging students to choose a Christlike response to today's issues.
Todd successfully built Campus Impact USA into a youth speaking powerhouse that spans 18 years of serving the community, significantly impacting over 1 million teens and youth and thousands of adult educators, while speaking throughout the United States. He is the creative lead for all content development and is a recognized prevention expert and creative content developer. Mr. Walts has written, produced and directed more than 40 discussion starter videos that are used throughout the US and a six week video based Bible study entitled: Bullying, Bystanders, and the Bible: Choosing Christlike Roles. He is a successful mentor and coach helping other aspiring and seasoned youth speakers to grow and significantly impact youth.
Todd earned his Master of Arts degree in Human Services Counseling and his Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. He is the senior faculty for Campus Impact USA speaker certification program providing national certification for dating violence/sexual assault prevention, bullying, intimidation and hazing prevention, workplace bullying, sexual harassment training and more. He is an expert in promoting active bystander behavior as part of a solution against crime, violence, and injustice in higher education, workplace and secondary school environments. He is the author and developer of the L.E.G.I.T. Leadership Development program helping to grow L.E.G.I.T. leaders among our youth. He is nationally certified in Advanced Threat Assessment and Violence Prevention by Gavin de Becker & Associates, of Los Angeles, CA, the nation's premier experts in violence prevention.
